March 2017 – Niagara BJJ Open – Niagara Falls, ON
The 6th Annual Niagara Open BJJ event came to a close over the weekend. We want to thank all of our coaches, parents, athletes and spectators for supporting us. We had over 30 athletes compete and leave it all on the mats. We are so proud of you win or lose. In total we took home 25 medals (7 Gold, 9 Silver, 9 Bronze). There will be another team picture after Kids class tomorrow at 6:00 pm. We would like everyone to be there if you can (Kids & Adults).
Special recognition to Richard "MVP" Bradley. He landed an amazing takedown and shook the entire venue to win in the final minutes. He really proved age should not stop you in achieving your goals. You are never too old to start anything. Richard is 51 years young and still got lots of fight left.

The Evolve MMA Fitness team had an excellent month in November this year, taking home belts and medals in many different sports. Coach Fraser Bridgman won her division at Abu Dhabi pro trials (BJJ) at the end of October and took that momentum into November and ended up placing second at the Judo World Championship!
